McDonald earns highest honor from American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronauts
Dr. Henry McDonald, Chair of Excellence in Computational Engineering at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, has been selected as one of only three 2008 Honorary Fellows by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) advances the state of aerospace science, engineering, and technological leadership.

SimCenter poised to expand fuel cell research
With the passage of the defense appropriations bill by the United States Senate, $3.5 million will be appropriated for the UT SimCenter at Chattanooga to house and test a powerful new fuel cell that would provide the energy needs of a 30,000 square foot building or supermarket. The U.S. House has passed the bill.
