The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga raised $60,056,026 from 6,762 donors during the fiscal year 2024. This is the single largest fundraising year in UTC’s history. This fundraising total represents a 325% increase from the previous fiscal year in dollars raised to support students, faculty and staff.
Graduate School goals? Use TN HOPE Scholarship
Getting your graduate degree at UTC just got more affordable with the expansion of the state’s lottery-funded scholarship program. Qualified students can now use their remaining Tennessee HOPE Scholarship funds to pursue a master’s degree at UTC immediately after or while completing their undergraduate degrees.

UTC nurse anesthesia program earns 10-year accreditation
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga/Erlanger Health System Nurse Anesthesia Concentration has achieved a significant milestone, being granted a 10-year continued accreditation through spring 2034 by the directors of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). The COA recognized the School of Nursing concentration for providing graduate-level curriculum leading to the award of a Doctor of Nursing Practice.
UTC’s hidden gem: Visitors can fly into space at the Challenger STEM Learning Center
Established in honor of the seven-person crew who tragically lost their lives in the 1986 space shuttle Challenger disaster, the UTC Challenger STEM Learning Center was created to educate and inspire the next generation. The initiative was led by June Scobee Rodgers—the wife of Challenger Captain Richard Scobee—and the families of the crew.
