WUTC Pledge Drive Underway
Listeners asked for a shorter pledge drive with fewer breaks during the hour, and WUTC obliged. The fall pledge drive will last for only ten days, ending on Friday, October 16. The goal for this pledge drive is $165,000, which will not only pay for NPR programing and cover everyday expenses, but also cover the cost of replacement equipment after a recent lightning strike affected the station.
Communication students win three Associated Press awards
Communication students at UTC who write and produce Mocs News, a student television program for students of UTC and the Chattanooga community, placed in three categories of the 2015 Tennessee AP College Competition.
Battle Academy seeking mentors for students

Jacobo Salazar Jr. will enjoy a Caribbean cruise, a special “thank-you” for his contribution to a successful spring membership drive for WUTC, the public radio station licensed to The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
