Students volunteer to pack meals for the hungry
Student Ben Jones transferred to UTC only a few weeks ago and he already met new friends and found a sense of purpose from volunteering with Feed My Starving Children. The University partnered with the organization to hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children.

The trip is part of a learning opportunity about civic engagement and the political process.
Chattanooga candidate forum on campus January 30
The Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute (CWLI), in partnership with UTC’s Department of Political Science, Public Administration, and Nonprofit Management, Women’s Studies Program and Women’s Center will host a candidate forum on Wednesday, January 30, at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga beginning at 5:30 p.m.
UTC Chancellor’s candidates to be narrowed
The first round of interviews for five candidates for the UTC Chancellor is complete. The search committee will meet on Monday, January 28, to determine the finalists and recommend them to University of Tennessee President Joe DiPietro.
