Students volunteer to pack meals for the hungry

Student Ben Jones transferred to UTC only a few weeks ago and he already met new friends and found a sense of purpose from volunteering with Feed My Starving Children. The University partnered with the organization to hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children.

A group of more than 30 UTC students will be attending the 57th Quadrennial Presidential Inauguration commemorating the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, in Washington D.C. The trip is part of a learning opportunity about civic engagement and the political process.
