UTC golfer Fox wins U.S. Amateur Championship
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga senior Steven Fox made history on Sunday, August 19, when he won the U.S. Amateur Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. Fox is the first Mocs golfer to win a national tournament, rallying from 2-down with two holes to play.
Patten Series returns with innovative performances
The 2012-2013 Patten Performance Series continues to bring the world’s most innovative artists to Chattanooga. This season features performances from popular music artists, comedy tropes, and dance companies. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at the UTC Fine Arts Center at the corner of Vine and Palmetto Streets.

Three Shades of Green
It’s “Three Shades of Green” and eighteen feet high, a new and colorful beacon floating above waves of campus construction. Jim Collins, former art professor at UTC, has created a sculpture fashioned with three powder-coated aluminum figures sitting 15 feet high, perched atop recycled fiberglass turbine blades.
