UTC golfer Fox wins U.S. Amateur Championship

University of Tennessee at Chattanooga senior Steven Fox made history on Sunday, August 19, when he won the U.S. Amateur Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado.  Fox is the first Mocs golfer to win a national tournament, rallying from 2-down with two holes to play.

Patten Series returns with innovative performances

Bush Award to Dr. Kathryn Sullivan, Dr. June Scobee Rodgers told the crowd gathered for the Challenger Center for Space Science Education (Challenger Center) conference at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, “This is an eagle and we are the wind beneath her wings.”

Three Shades of Green

It’s “Three Shades of Green” and eighteen feet high, a new and colorful beacon floating above waves of campus construction. Jim Collins, former art professor at UTC, has created a sculpture fashioned with three powder-coated aluminum figures sitting 15 feet high, perched atop recycled fiber­glass turbine blades.
