ETAP-TVA Power Lab benefits from student intern presentation
When TVA officials decided to make a contribution to the ETAP-TVA Power Lab at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a student intern’s presentation persuaded them to donate $8,000 for two large screen monitors, installation, and upgrades for a podium.

University offers new courses for fall semester

Construction begins, finishes on several key campus buildings
While most of UTC’s students spent their summer lounging at the pool, the University has completed several large construction projects and will begin several more in the fall semester. Happy memories return as South Stadium is dismantled
Described as “a beautiful concrete stadium with an exterior of brick and stone in harmony with the other buildings on campus” in the 1928 University yearbook, bittersweet feelings surround campus as South Stadium is dismantled, nearly 84 years after it was constructed.
