UTC Women’s Studies lectures continue with presentation on violence against Native American women

Dr. Sharon Redhawk Love will present “Rising Violence against Native Women in Native Communities: We are our Sisters’ Keepers” in the UTC Women’s Studies speaker series “Explore, Connect, Empower.”  This presentation, free and open to the public, will be held Monday, February 28, 5:30 p.m. in the Raccoon Mountain Room of the UTC University Center.

UTC aims for top five Southern master’s universities

Math department hosts middle school and high school poster competition

How many Moon Pies would it take to fill the Moon? Quadrillions, according one of the posters submitted in the UTC Department of Mathematics fourth annual Mathematics Poster competition. More than 70 students from five area middle and high schools, participated in the competition recently in the Tennessee Room of the UTC University Center.

As part of the Hunter Lecture Series, Canada spoke to a large crowd at UTC on the importance of education reform and accountability.
