“These students are the future of our city and the future of our country, and we are proud to have them represent University High”
A ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 27, officially launched University High, a new two-year program designed to help Hamilton County High School students get a head start on a college degree. University High will be headquartered on the UTC campus.
A college pipeline for high school students who might not have considered a four-year university education is the goal of a new partnership between Hamilton County Schools and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Debuting in fall 2023, University High is a HCS initiative headquartered on the UTC campus serving students and their families at no cost to them.
