MOC Forward continues to focus on diversity and inclusion

MOC Forward returns this fall as a series of virtual events with a kickoff session on Wednesday, Sept. 16. All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.

MOC Forward examined issues of diversity and inclusion

The annual MOC Forward conference took place on Tuesday, Oct. 15, with a theme of  “Intersections on the Path to Inclusion.” The event had 14 breakout sessions, and the keynote presentation was “The Defamation Experience,”  a live courtroom drama in which the audience is the jury. The featured speaker is 2019 Miss Tennessee Brianna Mason, the first African-American woman to gain the title since the program began in 1938.

Second annual MOC Forward conference addresses diversity, inclusion

The second annual MOC (Move Our Campus) Forward conference featured 24 presentations or panel discussions on the theme of “Communities and Conversations on the Path to Inclusive Excellence.”
