The success of UTC’s first Spanish-speaking campus tour has led to the addition of five more tours throughout the fall.
Mi campus es su campus: UTC to host first Spanish speaking tour
For the first time in its history, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will offer Spanish-language campus tours starting this month. The inaugural guided tour, led by UTC students, will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25. Buses will pick up prospective high school students and their families at 4 p.m. from La Paz Chattanooga—located at 809 S. Willow St.—and a trio of local high schools: The Howard School, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy and East Ridge High School.
“Where are you from?” UTC welcoming more long distance travelers to campus
Brandalyn Shropshire is the associate director of engagement in the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Office of Undergraduate Admissions. One of her many roles is overseeing campus tours, and she has seen a considerable increase in the number of out-of-state students coming to visit and tour UTC.
