Entrepreneurial ideas win Elevator Pitch Competition
The UTC Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO Club) hosted Round 2 of the 4th Annual Elevator Pitch Contest on Monday, Oct. 12. The competition gives contestants the chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of expert judges within a 90-second time frame.

Dr. David Levine, from the Department of Physical Therapy, was an International Keynote Speaker at the 2015 Australian Physiotherapy Conference, where he presented multiple lectures and labs on topics such as animal assisted therapy and research on the use of lasers to improve muscle endurance.

WUTC Pledge Drive Underway
Listeners asked for a shorter pledge drive with fewer breaks during the hour, and WUTC obliged. The fall pledge drive will last for only ten days, ending on Friday, October 16. The goal for this pledge drive is $165,000, which will not only pay for NPR programing and cover everyday expenses, but also cover the cost of replacement equipment after a recent lightning strike affected the station.
