Remember those fitness goals you set for the new year? Here’s a way for you to stick to them:
Walking.
While you were out in December, new transformations began at UTC. There’s a lot of construction requiring new, alternate ways of navigating campus.
You might get a few more steps on your pedometer until the projects are complete. For now, you’ll want to allow a little extra time to get around.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Vine Street construction: Ongoing. An alternate route is in place for pedestrian traffic.
- Oak Street construction: Began over the recent holiday break. The project is similar to work on Vine Street and requires alternate routes for both pedestrians and motorists. You may have to change your usual route through the area.

Do we have a projected finish date? For those of us who don’t struggle with fitness goals and do struggle with being on time, the information would be appreciated. 🙂
