Podcasting class amplifies student voices as ‘Tennessee Valley Crossroads’ premieres on WUTC
“Tennessee Valley Crossroads,” comprised of seven edited conversations between UTC students of differing viewpoints and backgrounds, will debut on Monday, May 13, on WUTC-FM 88.1—the National Public Radio station on the UTC campus. The project brought UTC classmates together to have candid, unscripted conversations, fostering empathy and breaking down barriers between students from different cultures and backgrounds.

Kali Glover was a student-worker in the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Division of Communications and Marketing during the spring 2024 semester. Glover, graduating in May with a bachelor’s degree in communication, penned a tribute to her first college roommate, Rosie Robinson.

MOCS Innovate! mini-grants take faculty inventions one step closer to commercialization
Four faculty projects are recipients of the MOCS Innovate! award, a $5,000 grant from a seed fund established by Dr. Thomas Lyons, the Clarence E. Harris Chair of Excellence in Entrepreneurship in the Gary W. Rollins College of Business, and Jennifer Skjellum, the commercialization counselor from the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.
