Dr. Ahad Nasab has been appointed interim dean of the UTC College of Engineering and Computer Science. Nasab has been head of the Department of Engineering Management and Technology and Burkett Miller Chair of Excellence since coming to UTC in 2018.

A former University of Tennessee at Chattanooga student has come full circle, as he now oversees renovations and updates to the on-campus housing where he once lived. Slade McGuire, a 2019 UTC construction management graduate, is currently the site superintendent of the Walker Apartments renovations. He is overseeing work that even includes the student apartment McGuire lived in as a UTC freshman.
