Open space at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport beckons advertising opportunities, according to a group of UTC business students in Dr. Diane Halstead’s marketing class. At the invitation of airport officials, the group presented their marketing plan aimed at bringing in new revenue.

Art Senior Thesis Exhibition runs through April 24
The UTC Department of Art Senior Thesis Exhibition Group 2 will open Tuesday evening, April 14, with a public reception from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. This exhibition will be run though April 24. Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
UTC enters 2009 Baja SAE Collegiate Design Series Alabama
When the engines begin to roar at 2009 Baja Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Alabama at Auburn University April 16-19, the UTC team’s entry will be an entirely new vehicle built and designed “from the ground up” according to Ben Klingler, Project Manager.

THEC grants aimed at improving teacher education
The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) has awarded funding to five projects from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, for a total of $358,937. UTC had more Improving Teacher Quality (ITQ) Grant Program proposals funded than any other Tennessee higher education institution.
Computational engineering candidate promotes STEM education
