New scholarship to honor longtime UTC executive Dr. Richard Brown
Dr. Richard Brown, who provided more than 38 years of service to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the University of Tennessee System, is the namesake of the new Richard Brown Inclusive Access Scholarship at UTC.
Goldberg appointed Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Chancellor Steven R. Angle has appointed Brent Goldberg as the University’s next vice chancellor for finance and administration. Goldberg is an experienced chief financial officer with two degrees from UTC. He currently serves as the CFO for the City of Chattanooga and will assume his new duties at UTC on Dec. 1, 2022.

UTC thanks community leader and Hamilton County legislator who secured funding for Moreland minority engineering scholarships
Forty-six minority engineering scholarships have been awarded thus far through a program at UTC, where a Sept. 29 celebration was held to thank Tennessee Sen. Todd Gardenhire for securing funding and former Chattanooga City Councilman James Moreland for recruiting prospective scholarship recipients.
