State commissioner visits UTC to advocate for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Commissioner Brad Turner visited the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on Tuesday, Jan. 31, to discuss expanding opportunities for students with disabilities and to bring awareness to career paths in early intervention, child and family studies and social work.
StoryCorps One Small Step takes one giant step

Every February, the achievements and history of African Americans are recognized and commemorated as part of Black History Month.

The three-day Tri-State Honor Band Festival, attended by 125 high school students, brought prospective band members from as far away as Chester County in West Tennessee and Greeneville, South Carolina.

Several UTC students are part-time DJs, dropping beats without dropping classes. They play coffeehouses, clubs, house parties and on-campus events or sometimes just do it for themselves.
