Mary Jackson, founder of UTC’S School of Nursing recently passed away. To honor her memory, UTC’s School of Nursing has compiled a short video focusing on Jackson’s thoughts on nursing and the founding of the School of Nursing.
UTC honors veterans with several events
The City of Chattanooga continued its tradition of honoring our veterans by raising American flags across the Veterans Bridge in the name of those who have served. Last spring a flag was raised and has flown over Veterans Bridge honoring the veteran students at UTC. On Veterans Day, that flag was lowered and presented to UTC Veteran Services to be retired at UTC.
