Volkswagen Group of America names UTC in ‘Partners in Education’
Volkswagen Group of America, Chattanooga Operations, LLC, today identified The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the company’s five-year, $5.28 million philanthropic commitment designed to serve as a catalyst for educational enrichment in the state of Tennessee. During the next five years, the company’s “Partners in Education” program will provide $1 million for UTC.
History major recognized for achievement
UTC history major, William Conner, was recently honored at a scholarly convention at Austin Peay State University. Conner presented his award winning paper at the regional conference of history’s honorary society, Phi Alpha Theta.
ROTC hosts Challenge Day
An Apache helicopter landed on Chamberlain Field Wednesday, March 18 as part of the attractions for ROTC Challenge Day. A training and combat simulator was on display on Vine St. Students enjoyed the climbing wall, also on display on Vine Street.
