Brock Scholar and elementary education major Rebekah Cahill, who will be graduating from UTC in December, placed second in the 2023 Sloane Prize for Undergraduate Research poster competition at the 58th annual National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) conference in Chicago. NCHC’s annual meeting is the second-largest all-discipline undergraduate research conference and the largest national gathering of honors educators, administrators and staff members.
The 2023 Scholarship Luncheon, hosted by the Division of Advancement, brought nearly 200 people to the University Center Tennessee Room. The event provided an opportunity for students to thank their benefactors and for donors to get to know the students who benefited from their generosity.
Two UTC juniors, Emma Sprayberry and Jannat Saeed, have been awarded Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Junior Summer Institute (JSI) fellowships, a rigorous academic graduate-level preparation program for undergraduate juniors committed to public service careers.
