As our campus has grown, it has been more difficult to find convenient parking during peak times of the day. In an effort to better understand the issues, we carried out a parking survey and held focus groups this past spring. In response to what we heard, we are working to improve the quantity and quality of parking.

Representatives from UTC and Chattanooga State met on July 25 to sign an articulation agreement allowing Chattanooga State’s Global Scholars Program students to transfer seamlessly into UTC’s Honors College in their Innovations in Honors program.

William “Tripp” Woolf has won the 2016 North Callahan Essay Prize. Woolf captured the $1000 award for his essay “Mammy’s Children: Power, Agency, and Redemption in Dessa Rose.”
