University now offers M.S. degree in Mathematics
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga received approval from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission to offer the Master of Science Degree in Mathematics with concentrations in four areas: Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Algebra and Discrete Mathematics, and Education. This degree program is available now.

Students assist drug court graduates
After hearing four clients and program coordinator Elaine Kelly from Hamilton County Drug Court speak in Gary Behler’s criminal justice class in spring semester, a group of compassionate students decided to take action. Drug Court allows drug addicts to work towards sobriety instead of facing a jail sentence.
UTC Master Chorale to perform June 19
The UTC Master Chorale will be directed by Dr. Kevin Ford, Director of Choral Activities, on Friday, June 19, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in the Second Presbyterian Church (700 Pine St., Chattanooga). The accompanist for the concert is David Friberg. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
