Racing Mocs place in top 25 in latest competition
The Racing Mocs, UTC’s student-led Baja team, placed in the top 25 of more than 100 teams at the Society of Engineers (SAE) Midwest international competition in Madison, Wisconsin. The competition ends a spectacular run for the team who placed in the top ten in their past two contests this year.

For several UTC engineering students, helping others also meant helping themselves. Creating a bridge and colorful mural for pre-kindergarten (pre-k) students at Blythe Bower Elementary School in Cleveland, Tennessee gave the engineering students new skills and a new perspective.
Software donation benefits Construction Management program
The UTC Construction Management program in the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences recently received a donation from GRAPHISOFT—100 licenses of the ArchiCAD Building Information Modeling (BIM) software valued at $425,000.
Update: Racing Mocs secure another first top ten finish
The Racing Mocs are on a roll! The team secured another top ten finish at the Society of Engineers (SAE) international competition in Portland, Oregon. The student-led team placed eighth overall, their highest finish ever.
