Playing ‘Taps’ a commemoration of ‘my favorite veteran’

Teaching prospective teachers how to teach
The UTC Governor’s School for Prospective Teachers program aims to enhance students’ perspectives on the exciting challenges of teaching. The dual-enrolled rising 11th- and 12th-grade students from across the state spent most of June on campus.

The Arts-Based Collaborative at UTC participated in a community engagement project with kindergarten educators at Montessori Elementary at Highland Park, culminating with an art exhibition at the school.
