SimCenter part of White House high speed internet initiative

Chemical engineering student finishes first in research competition
Eric Snider, senior chemical engineering student, placed first overall at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Southern Regional Conference in the research paper competition. As a result, he will be one of nine students nationwide to compete in the AIChE national competition in October in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

SimCenter Enterprises, a collaborative organization involving The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the SimCenter: National Center for Computational Engineering, and private enterprise, recently named Tim Walsh as presiding president and CEO.
