Join the UTC Freshman Senate, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Oxfam for an interactive Oxfam Hunger banquet. Guests are randomly assigned to three different tiers: high-, medium- or low-income. At the banquet, they’ll share a meal with their newly acquired peers and get a taste of what it feels like to be on the spectrum of global income levels.

Political analyst Roland Martin to visit UTC for Martin Luther King Jr. event
Roland Martin. His name is synonymous with politics. From Bill Clinton to Barack Obama, Martin has interviewed multiple presidents, and he will be speaking at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, as part of their annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Friday, January 19.

“O, King” offers a variety of music, dance and spoken-word performances centered on the central messages from civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King.
