8th Annual Introduction to Asia Conference sets sights on Korean and Japanese culture
As the keynote speaker, Republic of Korea Consul General Seong-jin Kim will explore the relationship between the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and the U.S. UTC’s Takeo Suzuki will present “Japanese Culture Now and Then: From Samurai to Pokemon.”
Professor’s work featured in solo exhibit at Sewanee
Christina Vogel, Assistant Professor, Painting and Drawing’s solo exhibition Encounters is currently on view at Sewanee’s University Art Gallery, less than an hour’s drive from Campus. The Encounters exhibit began in February and will run through Sunday, April 10.
Robie Robinson sworn in as IAEM-USA President
UTC’s Executive Director of Public Safety, Robie Robinson, CEM, was recently sworn into office as 2015-2016 president of the USA Council of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM-USA) at the Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
