Selected as a scholar, Edwards will meet with administrators and student leaders from universities across the country to talk about racial and ethnic relations on college campuses and discuss new ways of providing opportunities for traditionally underrepresented populations in higher education.

Three students in UTC’s Honors College won the largest number of awards at a national honors conference.
Professors and students featured in poetry collection, The Heart’s Many Doors
UTNAA Distinguished Professor of English Dr. Richard Jackson, with UTC alumni and current students, as well as distinguished American poets, recently teamed up to produce The Heart’s Many Doors. The collaborative effort features poems by American poets responding to prints by Slovene artist Metka Krasovec.

Brock Scholars take on Budapest and Prague
UTC’s Brock Scholars spent their summer exploring the streets and culture of historical European capitals Budapest, Hungary and Prague, Czech Republic. The theme, A River Runs Through It was designed by a group of students to study the two cities formerly part of the Habsburg Empire, both steeped in history.
