Mocs participate in mock presidential debate
Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce’s Downtown Council hosted a UTC mock presidential debate. Communications Department Fellow in Residence and former CNN White House Correspondent Dan Lothian provided critiques and insights to the students turned presidential hopefuls after their public performance.
Guest Artist’s Haunting Portrait of America’s Death Row
As part of the Diane Marek Visiting Artist series, the Cress Gallery will exhibit award winning artist Amy Elkins’ art February 9 – March 24. The visiting artist began her project featuring death row inmates after stumbling on calls for penpals online.

Engineering Students Design Device to Help Move Child
A team of engineering students designed a rolling device to move a young girl with cerebral palsy from her bed, to the bathroom, and to the stair lift.
