Green Initiative allows development of eco-friendly campus
With the creation of the Green Initiative, the University is saving energy and becoming more environmentally conscious. The Green Initiative is funded by the Student Green Fee, approved by a student vote.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has earned the 2008 Community Engagement Classification designation by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
