Aria Beloate keeps a countdown on her phone to the very minute she will walk across the stage at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga undergraduate commencement ceremony. For Beloate, graduation on Saturday, Dec. 14, marks a culmination of accomplishments and opportunities. When she came to UTC in 2021 during “the COVID times,” she said she didn’t have any plans to get involved on campus.
Starting the school year right with the 2024 edition of Convocation
Convocation—the annual celebration of incoming students at UTC—was held on Friday, Aug. 16, at McKenzie Arena for the class of 2028. UTC’s School of Nursing announces significant impact grant for mental health from Unum Group
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga announced that Unum Group, a leading international provider of workplace benefits and services, has made a $500,000 grant and become the School of Nursing’s Premier Mental Health Partner at the new Dorothy and Jim Kennedy Health Sciences Building, slated to begin construction later this year.
