The largest academic conference held on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus is only a couple of months away. The 2024 UTC Spring Research and Arts Conference will be held on Wednesday, April 10, in the University Center. Sponsored by the Office for Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavor (URaCE), the event allows UTC students, faculty and staff to share their research or showcase their creative work with their peers.

Innovative, embracing and excelling in all they do: UTC trio to be honored as 2023 UT System President’s Award recipients
Three members of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga family—Executive Director of the Disability Resource Center Michelle Rigler, Associate Dean of the College of Health, Education and Professional Studies David Rausch, who also is a professor and director of the Learning and Leadership program, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Abeer Mustafa—are being honored this week for the work they do by UT System President Randy Body and his Be One UT cabinet.
Three members of UTC family recognized with 2023 UT System President’s Awards
Three UTC faculty and staff members were announced as 2023 President’s Award recipients—the highest accolade an employee can receive from the UT System. President Randy Boyd announced that Dr. Michelle Rigler, Dr. Abeer Mustafa and Dr. David Rausch are among 14 award winners from across the UT System recognized for their accomplishments and dedication to Be One UT values.
