UTNAA Distinguished Professor of English Dr. Richard Jackson, with UTC alumni and current students, as well as distinguished American poets, recently teamed up to produce The Heart’s Many Doors. The collaborative effort features poems by American poets responding to prints by Slovene artist Metka Krasovec.
Beat Hunger, the Holiday Season kick-off is back
The Campus favorite, Beat Hunger, will be held only once this year, on Monday, November 21, at 7:30 P.M. in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall, Fine Arts Center. As usual, admission is only a $2 check donation to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen or two non-perishable food items.
Musicians raise awareness for music in therapy with Chamber Music for Body and Soul IV
Several leading regional musical organizations will combine their talents in a concert on November 18. The concert featuring UTC faculty is designed to educate and entertain the audience on the positive therapeutic outcomes for motor, speech, and cognitive challenges utilizing music as a direct conduit into the brain.

Sybil Baker awarded prestigious Artist Fellowship
UC Foundation Associate Professor of English, Sybil Baker, is one of 11 Tennessee artists awarded an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Tennessee Arts Commission for 2017.
