The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s twenty-third annual Symposium on the 19th Century Press, the Civil War, and Free Expression will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, November 5-7.

Miss Tennessee’s Mission to Mars at the Challenger Center
Miss Tennessee 2015, Hannah Robison, joined a team of Middle School students from Nashville’s Harding Academy as they launched their mission to Mars during her visit to UTC’s Challenger STEM Learning Center.
Legally Blind Artist, Carmen Papalia, Featured in Marek Series
Carmen Papalia’s “How to Close Your Eyes” is currently on exhibit at the Cress Gallery in the Fine Arts Center, and is free and open to the public. The exhibit will last until December 8, with a lecture presented by the artists on Tuesday, October 27 at 5:30 p.m. in room 101 of Derthick Hall.
Entrepreneurial ideas win Elevator Pitch Competition
The UTC Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO Club) hosted Round 2 of the 4th Annual Elevator Pitch Contest on Monday, Oct. 12. The competition gives contestants the chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of expert judges within a 90-second time frame.
Register for the River Cities I-O Psychology Conference
