UTC has a new one stop shop for enrollment questions about the Financial Aid, Bursar, Scholarship, and Records Office. The Mocs One Center opened at the end of the 2015 fall semester in University Center Room 124.
Disability Resource Center Relocates to the University Center
Changes are coming to UTC’s Disability Resource Center. By moving to a more centralized location, the center will now be more accessible to students.

The new Writing and Communication Center is a place for “writers helping writers” no matter their ability levels. The Writing and Communication Center helps UTC faculty, staff, and especially students, both undergrads and graduate students, with all aspects of the writing process.

The UTC Financial Wellness Center has entered into a new partnership with the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU). The mission of the UTC Financial Wellness Center is to equip students with knowledge, tools and techniques that will increase their overall financial literacy, capability, satisfaction and wellness. TVFCU’s is partnering to support these efforts and help prepare students to be good stewards of their finances.

Justin Pohl in UTC Student Development offered me a challenging proposal: take a week away from UTC University Relations and join several faculty members to facilitate a LeaderShape Institute at Camp Lookout. Sleep in a cabin, grab food from the chow line, and help a group of UTC students figure out who they are, where they want to go, and how to get there from here.
