Alumna dropped “Kicking and Screaming” into new FOX reality show
NaKeisha Turk, a former UTC cheerleader who graduated with a degree in political science in 2012, was one of ten divas paired with ten survivalists in FOX’s newest reality show, Kicking and Screaming. The eight-week series premiered on Thursday, March 9 at 9 PM and will continue to air on Thurdays at 9 PM EST.
Alumna wins $25,000 Tennessee Milken Educator Award
Baker, who earned both a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from UTC in 2010, is the only Milken Educator Award recipient for Tennessee and the 33rd and final honoree named nationwide for 2016-17. This season marks the 30th year of the Milken Educator Awards, hailed by Teacher magazine as the “Oscars of Teaching.”
